About the Notebook
The feel of an edge-worn paperback in your hands, slim and soft-cornered, perhaps a little sun-faded or coffee-ring-stained . . . we’ve made these books with the intention to change over time. We hope that one day, they'll be as creased and soft-cornered as an old novel pulled from a box at a second-hand store.
The gentle pear was sacred to the goddess Hera, and has flowered since antiquity. Named as one of the gifts of the gods in The Odyssey, the pear is a sweet and ever-loved delight in any orchard.
